WD® Custom Pickguard For Gibson® 50th Anniversary Pete Townshend SG® Special
This replacement pickguard is made to fit the Gibson® 50th Anniversary Pete Townshend SG® Special while many manufacturers may make a similar model instrument, this does not mean each pickguard of this type is interchangeable. If the design of your pickguard varies (country of origin, manufactured date, non-Gibson® manufactured) from that pictured, you may be required to submit a tracing for a custom order.
If you are unsure about your material selection please Request A Material Sample before finalizing your order.
Please Note: All pickguards are made-to-order and all purchases are processed in the order they are received. Due to order volume and the handcrafted nature of these products it may take up to 2 weeks to process your pickguard order. Choosing an expedited shipping method at checkout will not expedite the processing of your order, only its time in transit.

Please Note: Main pickguard image is a graphical representation of the pickguard you will receive and is not a photograph. Pickguard material swatch showing beveled edge and screw hole is a genuine photograph of the material used and is much more accurate in appearance to the pickguard you will receive. Due to the nature of these materials and variations in mobile or desktop screens, lighting, or print, the pickguard material you receive may differ slightly in pattern or hue to that pictured.

WD Custom Pickguard For Gibson 50th Anniversary Pete Townshend SG Special

Pretty close fit for 2020 Gibson SG Special P90 Pelham Blue
2019/2020 Gibson introduced a new P90 SG Special in Pelham Blue and Sparkling Burgundy. The pickguard resembles a '61 Re-issue but a traditional '61 replacement will be much too msmall at the neck tenon area. I looked everywhere for a replacement or information, but it doesn't really exist.
I took a flyer on this and luckily its a damn near perfect match. The tenon screws line up perfectly, the main surface screws are 1-2 mms off. I elected two drill two new holes since the pickguard will be covering them, but you could get away without it. The tenon cover is about 2-3 mm skinnier that the original but you don't notice it when it is on the guitar (as opposed to other pickguards that would be 10-20mm off)
As for quality the wide bevel Creme/Black/Creme is fantastic. I love it -- 10/10 A+ premium
