General Terms and Conditions

TERMS: We have a $19.95 minimum order for individuals, $50 minimum for dealers (cost). Credit cards accepted are American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard. You may also pay for your order with PayPal which is very convenient, secure and does not require the use of a credit card. Checks and Money Orders are also accepted.

SHIPPING: FedEx is our specific shipper of record and we offer the full gamut of their services from conventional Ground to Overnight If you have special shipping requirements we do have arrangements with UPS and most other shippers as well as the Postal Service.
There is the shipping option “USPS International.” International customers who choose this option—your order will be processed and you will be contacted regarding the freight charge. Domestic customers who choose this option will NOT be contacted. You will charged USPS published rates to the card on file or be sent a Paypal request for funds prior to shipping. We reserve the right to charge a restock fee for any order that is cancelled after we have pulled, packaged and quoted the freight.
When purchasing large or oversize items such as sheets of pickguard material or necks and bodies the dollar value of the purchase may come up as eligible for free shipping, but we reserve the right to contact you regarding freight charges. Some oversize items make it impossible for us to bear the full freight charge and we will request HALF of the freight charge be shared with you.

RETURNS: All returns must have a Return Authorization number (please contact Customer Service for one). Any items returned without an RA number will be refused. If the reason for the return is our error full credit (plus freight)will be given. If the box appears to have been damaged in shipping please contact the shipper immediately. Any defective parts must be reported to us within 48 hours (or 2 business days)of receipt of goods. Any part which in our opinion shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to the manufacturer's instructions and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund or warranty consideration. We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee or refuse any exceptions. No returns will be accepted after 15 days of receipt of goods. Please do not send pickguards back in an envelope as they will get bent and/or broken.

BACK ORDERS: You will be called when back-ordered items are available for shipment to insure that the item is still needed or to add items to your order. All back orders under $10.00 will be canceled automatically.

SPECIAL ORDER AND MADE TO ORDER PICKGUARDS: See the pickguard section for detailed ordering instructions. All custom made pickguards made from tracings or those with non-standard routs are carefully inspected prior to shipping to ensure the highest degree of accuracy and quality. These guards are non-returnable (final sale) so please be sure that what you send or order is exactly what you want. Remember – the guard can only be as accurate as the tracing.

NECKS: All WD necks are fully finished with the highest quality finishes and manufactured of the highest quality woods. They are not dipped in sealer! Some necks may require a minor level and polish. This is perfectly normal and is not considered a defect. WD contemporary style necks have a double action truss rod which adjusts in 2 directions while the vintage necks use a single action rod which adjusts only 1 way. All necks should be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modification as the neck is rendered non-returnable once altered. Some necks may have minor grain imperfections due to the organic nature of the material. These are not seconds or "blems ". Please contact customer service if you have any questions or concerns about your neck when it arrives. WD cannot guarantee exact neck pocket fit due to varying manufacturer tolerances, wood shrinkage or expansion over time etc. Some neck pocket modification may be required.
