My new favorite replacement string tree!
I was so happy I discovered these at WD.
They have a significantly improved performance over the original style stamped steel trees.
They install with a single screw and mounting tube the way the old style trees do--so you can adjust height (thus tension) via mounting tube length and you don't need to drill a hole for an indexing pin like you do for the modern style trees.
The shape and smooth, smooth finish of the barrel and its string slots hangs onto lubrication better than the old stamped style trees ever did.
In addition, because of the general shape viewed from above, it is not immediately obvious that you have changed the tree(s) when you look at a vintage or re-issue instrument.
I put a set on my personal Strat-stye guitar and immediately fell in love with the design.

My new default string trees
I love these things because they have a solid look (not like the stamped-metal trees) with a minimal footprint on the headstock.
