WD® Custom Pickguard For Fender® Pre-CBS 8 Hole, Eric Johnson Signature, Eric Clapton Signature, Or Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster®
This pickguard is an exact template of the Fender® Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson and SRV signature series Stratocasters®. It is designed after the original 1954-1959 Fender® Stratocasters® with all drilled holes including the 8 mounting screw holes, pickup mounting holes and switch mounting holes countersunk. This pickguard is routed for standard single coils and will also fit Kent Armstrong Strat-sized single coils and Lace Sensor pickups. While many manufacturers may make a similar model instrument, this does not mean each pickguard of this type is interchangeable. If the design of your pickguard varies (country of origin, manufactured date, non-Fender® manufactured) from that pictured, you may be required to submit a tracing for a custom order.

Great replacement!
The bright white, single-ply pickguard on my Eric Clapton Stratocaster just wasn't my cup of tea. But finding other options for a three-ply, 8-hole guard turned out to be a little daunting. Until I saw WD recommended as a source. I ordered a Parchment, 3-ply replacement and couldn't be happier. The fit was great, it was exactly what I thought I was ordering, and was shipped and received quickly. The shade of Parchment is spot on to the Fender Parchment accessory kit and looks, in my opinion, so much better! Very pleased and would buy from WD Music again.

Custom pickguard
Instructions for bevel, mounting holes and (no) pickup routs were followed exactly. Nicely done for a Strat build on an Eric Johnson styled Strat. Refreshing to get it right the first time!

The finishing touch...
Just finished a build of an authentic...right down to the exact pickups, and 7 way toggle switch, replica of the David Gilmour black Stratocaster. All I had to do to make this pickguard look perfectly authentic was drill a small hole for the toggle switch, and polish the rounded edges with an ultra fine grit polishing pad. Fender re-issue '57 Strat body, custom Warmouth neck with vintage tint and modern features for easier guitar maintenance, Callaham solid steel trim block and bridge pieces for incredible sustain, Fender vintage tuning machines, all vintage wiring. Guitar appears well used but not abused. Don't have the heart to relic such a good looking instrument. WD Fender Pre-CBS 8 Hole, Eric Johnson Signature pickguard was the final touch to make it 'look' authentic. Could not ask for better quality! Oh...almost forgot! This guitar absolutely wails! And WD helped make it a great experience!

Looking good!
Great pick guard.fit perfectly. My only complaint was the pickup selecter switch hole was a little too tight and needed some fileing. It looks great like a 60's or 70's strat. Thank you guys once again for a perfect pick guard.

Pick guard and Back plate review
I really like the new pick guard and back plate on my guitar. I was having static electricity problems with the original single ply pick guard that came on my Clapton Strat and the copper coating on your pick guard evidently shielded/grounded it so I no longer have that problem. Thanks

8 hole 3 ply strat pickguards
I have 3 fender 57 reissue strats from various eras, have never been a big fan of single-ply guards. Just my personal taste. Have purchased white, mint, and black 3-plys from WD and all of them fit perfectly and look great. Quick service too - thanks WD!
