String Swing® Guitar Jack & Ferrule Tool
A must-have for guitar luthiers! This tool offers a quick & easy way to tighten a loose jack plug on any surface-mounted input! Insert tool into jack & use allen wrench (as shown) to tighten the internal set screw. This gives the holding power needed to tighten the retainer nut, without having to go inside of the instrument! Designed to friction-lock from the inside of the receiver. (Also works great for removing 1/4" string ferrules.)

Handy tool for many jobs!
This is a great tool. It provides just enough pressure on the jack to keep it in place. This is especially useful on this long panel/barrel jacks that tighten from inside the cavity. Bravo!

No match for Loctite!
A customer had brought in his bouzouki and wanted me to install one of those new Music Nomad Strap Button adapters. To do this I simply needed to remove the typical large strap button that you seen on endpin jacks. This one wouldn't but budge. I ordered this tool in hopes that it would grab into the inner sleeve of the jack and let me turn the strap button. The tool worked as advertised but simply spun and slipped as I tried to turn the button. I ended up taking fret nippers and cutting the end of the jack and button off in pieces. I discovered some genius had covered the threads of the jack with red Loctite. There's nothing worse than an amature luthier! A few days later I used the tool with great success loosening a rusty jack nut on a Les Paul.
