First time order
Took a little to get comfortable with the site . First order went smooth once I learned your process thanks
i have 2 Guild USA acoustics, dreadnaught and a concert size. I put them on my dread and loved them so much i just ordered a set for my concert Guild. they came with the small button knob, which are nice but the keystones are much more vintage. plus i use only Klusons now.these are a drop in fit.
I bought these to put on a Gibson J35 that has Gotoh tuners modeled after vintage Kluson enclosed back tuners. I had read somewhere that the mounting screw holes were 24 mm which would fit perfectly but they are 26 mm. They are really nice tuners but I did not want to plug a hole and drill a new top mounting screw hole to mount them on the Gibson. Fortunately I have a Martin guitar that has open tuners that these tuners fit perfectly. The Kluson tuners are much smoother than the stock Martin butterbean tuners and have the benefit of being 3 grams lighter due to the plastic buttons vs the metal butterbean tuner knobs. The lighter weight made the treble come out a little more on the Martin which is a benefit because the guitar is dark sounding to start with. Although I had bought them for a different guitar they are working great on my Martin. The Gibson J35 is a bright sounding guitar to start with so making it brighter would not have been a good thing. Great product!
for a guild D-40e. look good, work great
