Cool twist on a P90
I've only used this pickup in the neck position, and only at full wind (not tapped). The pickup exhibits exceptional clarity while being nicely powered. Not too strong to be matched with a Kent Armstrong vintage P90Sin the bridge. What this pickup gets you over a standard P90 in the neck spot is more clarity and jangle while still retaining some warmth and body. I really like this pickup as a P90 alternative. What happens when a strat pickup gets big, gains both muscle and fat, and matures into a more versatile pickup? You're looking at it.
