This is a very limited edition Kent Armstrong prewired pickguard loaded with three very special single coil pickups that are handwound by Kent Armstrong himself here in the USA. These are not just any pickups. These are handwound to be sonic replications of the famous Burns Tri-sonics®. The switching is not your normal 5 position switch for a strat but three on/off/on switches which allow you to tun on any combination of the three pickups and use them in or out of phase with each other. This is the key ingredient to getting that signature sound that only Kent could replicate. Only the best parts like CTS specially designed +/- 10% pots combined with a Sprague cap and high quality switches.
These are a limited edition. There is a small quantity on hand but these should be considered as special order. |
